It really doesn't take a lot of self control to discuss things in a non-attack mode. Nothing I said in any of my posts could be taken as a personal affront by anyone. But because your arguments lack weight you feel it necessary to make personal attacks.

Maybe the problem is that you can't stand the fact that I have faith in something greater than myself, and the thought of something greater than yourself scares you to death.

Your reasoning that I shouldn't steal from you because then someone will steal from me is an attitude rarely truly seen. How many times have you heard the "Golden rule" rephrased... "Do unto others BEFORE they do unto you." or the now infamous "He who has the gold makes the rules".

I have often wondered at the reasoning of a man or woman who, in thinking they have fallen in love with a married person works every means at their disposal to steal that person away from their spouse. What foolishness, for if a person will be untrue to one spouse you can be certain he or she will not be true to you! Does that rational thinking stop them? No way. The fact is people rarely set aside their desires for a paltry reason like logic. Self control and self mastery are not easily found among people in general.

I offer you the great and powerful of any period of history that you'd care to name, show me enlightened self interest at work in any who do not also profess God. I however can point to great thinkers in every age including todays age to whom the need for a God is manifest in everything around them. DUH

You say God doesn't exist, I laugh in your face, because I know that he does! I cannot prove to you that God exists for to do that you would have to gain the ability to see beyond yourself. Once you have truly felt God's influence you too would know that He exists. Can you prove there is no God? Do you think that because there is evil in the world that means God doesn't exist? How petty of you to try to judge God. What do you know of His plans and purposes?

Have you traveled to the ends of the Universe to see if God is there? Have you walked through the dimensions of the multiverse and discovered that there is nothing there? What does man really understand about this existence? And in all of Man's vaunted knowledge has he found any real answers? Talk to any physicist and you'll learn that the answer is no. We have theories that explain some things, but cannot explain others. So we conveniently use one theory when it works and switch to another when it doesn't. But we really don't know squat. Don't get me wrong, I don't condemn science for that, I love science and try to stay up on the latest ideas and theories. But man's understanding of this universe is as nothing when compared to Him who framed it.

I am sorry that I can't show you God, for He is there to be found, but no one is more truly blind than he who will not see.

Do I believe without questioning? Yes I guess I do now, for my searching occurred many years ago. The result of my search brought me to God, and to a knowledge of God, and that knowledge is greater than your doubt in His existence, for to prove God exists all you have to do is find Him. To prove God doesn't exist requires you to examine every possible place where He might be and show that God is not there. Perhaps you just don't know how to look.

I am not a religious fanatic, and I think that I have made it pretty clear in previous posts that I am not a religious bigot. Not even against your religion, or belief system, of the non existence of God. But your anger is palpable. Isn't it odd that you have such great anger at someone you are so sure doesn't even exit.

Good night Naruki, better results next time, just keep your anger in check.
