Serial communications, Part 2 by mikosullivan2002-07-09 09:55:25

Could you tell me how? by Tomo 2002-07-09 14:43:00
I've had some terrible problems with serial comms in a couple of other projects.
The non-PC unit is a PIC running some emulator software (okay, I wrote it but the waveform is fine! Honest!)

For some reason:
Terminal works fine.
HyperTerminal fails miserably - nothing
Freebie download Terminal prog - weird rubbish.

I haven't tried the VB MSComm control yet, but will want to use it in a couple of future projects
- supposed to be a party-line RS232 drop (similar to RS485) for control of a small machine.
