Nah, I don't think that's it. Both of those games worked wonderfully in 98 with either video card. My only XP computer is here at the office, and I haven't yet sunk to the level of playing games at work. So it may not work either. However, remembering the fish screensaver incident, XP and 98 seem to have pretty similar performance speeds when it comes to graphics. 2000, on every computer I've used it on, has consistently lagged behind in that area.
