Windows NT 4 Troubles by LeiraHoward2002-07-09 09:07:14

If you have a BSOD during install, there's already some "critical" problem, usually wiht some unsupported HW.
I guess it's not an option to move to W2K?

If you have more than one processor maybe http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q298936
(How was it making a link here?)

SofTrack Workstation Metering running?: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q245112

Others, more general:
http://search.support.microsoft.com/search/default.aspx?Catalog=LCID%3
D1033%26CDID%3DEN-US-KB%26PRODLISTSRC%3DON&Product=msall&Query=NT%2520b
lue%2520screen%2520Install&Queryc=NT+blue+screen+Install&REF=false&srch
step=0&KeywordType=ALL&Titles=false&numDays=&maxResults=150

Maybe there's something for you...
I'd go for disabling hardware in the box to find the one the makes NT crash; also would be good if you could install on a smaller partition (I guess you need the 60G for file serving)
