is a virtual machine (available in several flavors) which will run in your linux box, and provide a software environment in which you can load Windows without having to concern yourself with dual boot. TTBOMK, there is an evaluation version available for download that you can try. Be warned, it can be difficult to set up, but when running well, it's sweet.

Of course, since it *is* emulation, more ram and a faster processor wouldn't hurt.

Have any of us mentioned more ram? :)
