I understand your definition of "right". Something which is morally correct. The original point of this discussion (lost among the threads above) was that all of these "rights" did not just appear out of thin air. They were won. Hard won by our fathers, grandfathers & great-grandfathers, many of whom payed the ultimate price to give us our world we have today. Our morally "right" world is a fragile place. these "rights" must still be fought for. your "right to live" is wholly dependant on the armed forces that patrol your borders and prevent transgressors from invading and taking your life from you. I feel that the word "right" is mis-placed and should be "privelige"
