if you break the law and the police put a gun to your head, and a judge forces you to give the accept punishment for you actions, don't be surprised if the police show up again when you dodge the punishment.
You can appeal I guess, but in Iraq’s case its pretty clear they were/are using/developing chemical weapons.
I'm not quite sure what I think about us being the world’s police force, but I do think the world would be a much safer place without people like Sadam in charge. I'd be a little happier about us doing this kind of thing if we were consistent about it. If we would hold everyone, including ourselves, up to the same standard, and not just ignore atrocities because it’s not politically/financially convenient to do something about it.
