Well, back from a week of sun and sand!

Vacation was good. Not great, but I'm not dead, so I guess that's a good thing. I've managed to get a bit of a tan, wich is neeto. I also got a tattoo. Tehe. And it's not a temprary tatoo. It's not even an ink tatoo. Tehehehe...

Ok, fess up time - it's henna. Though, it looks really good, maybe I'll get a real one...

Actually, that sounds painful. Maybe I'll just by some bulk henna or something.

Anyway, back to vacation. Went to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I got to see the Wright Brother's memorial (a lighthouse. WHY it's a lighthouse, I don't know. The FLEW AIRPLANES!!! NOT BOATS!!! But, then again, this is the forever damnable North Carolina. You know, in that whole freekin' memorial, there was NO MENTION of Dayton!! Not even Ohio!!! He-llo!! They were in Kitty Hawk for, like, a week!! They were in Dayton for YEARS. I mean, that's where they did all their reaserch, and most of their testing, save for the actual flight; the only reason they went to NC was because it was squishy. DAMN YOU NORTH CAROLINA, DAMN YOU. IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT THE MORONS I MEET THINK THE WRIGHTS ARE FROM NORTH CAROLINA!!!!!!!)(anyway), wich I liked a lot. I was really happy to be able to stand in the same spot that they flew from 98 1/2 years ago, even though North Carolina is eeeeeeeeeeee-vile.

Walking on the beach was difficult with my stupid ankles. But, I mastered the sand (kinda. Well, I stopped falling), and now I'm walking better than ever (though, maybe that's because I got over that whole nasty infection thing)! I didn't get in any fights with my family, and more or less I got left alone. I kicked back three Pern books (Yea!) and worked on a bunch of homework (Bleh!). Was overall rather uneventfull. Wich, I suppose, is a good thing.

On another note, if my sister keeps up like this, I think I'll strangle her. Not only is she badgering me to drop everything so that she can get back online (she's alredy had her 74 minute turn), she's got the TV on so loud it's giving me a headache. Even worse is what she's watching - she's flipping back between disney chanel (Gag) and MTV, wich is doing some "I bet you will" show, wich is something not entirely unlike Jackass, but involves more throwing up. It's making me nautous, and she won't turn it off. I know it's against rules for us to have a TV in our room, but I'm about to give her mine to make her go away (mine not plugged in, so it's ok. It's in use as a beside table at the moment.). She's so 15. |
