A "right" is something which should happen, "that which is just, morally good, legal, proper, or fitting" according to Dictionary.com, and "a legally, morally, or traditionally just claim". This does not make it guaranteed. Like a title provides proof of ownership but no "bullet-proof" guarantee that no one will steal my property, human rights are those things which should be allowed and protected in any just nation. The truth that there are unjust nations, or no perfectly just nations, does not make those things less right. |
