But much as it galls me to have to admit it, the US are the de facto rulers of the world. Their power is based on basic economy. They have no need of us but we need them. The other point is that unless you are attacked, I don't see that any reason is sufficient to justify war. The fact that a government uses methods that violates our moral principals are not a sufficient reason, we haven't the right to impose our morality on anybody else.
