btw congrats on the school thing :) With caller ID yes here you often have to manually block it before calling out. However I think where I am it auto does it for unlisted numbers and simply says "private" however *69 I think would call them back. I'm unsure though if the "name the number" service would work or simply state unlisted/private. Though I know it's hard I don't think your mom will change any time soon. I'd just keep away for awhile not just days or weeks but several months to at least a year. That will show both you mean business and allow you both to work out your own seperate things. Then maybe by the time you attempt contact again she'll of got her act together. As I see it she shows no remorse she does however show a high degree of manipulation. I know what that is like and it's abuse. I found it hard to break away and heal from it when I had that happen to me. I know it's not easy to get away from. I think though the people know what they are doing and enjoy the power they have with it. They really dislike that power being taken away and will tantrum and try to get it back. That is why I say have no contact at all with her for awhile. She may try to contact you but just don't return it and avoid it for as long as you can. Its the only way such people learn to stop. I don't know if they ever admit they have a problem to others. Regarding my exhusband and that sort of behaviour my docs (some of whom had met him for various reasons) agreed he may well have a personality disorder. This could also be your moms case.
