What brand/model is your SCSI controller, what brand/model is your EIDE controller (if it's not a motherboard controller), and are you sure SuSE supports them out of the box? I know I've been having a devil of a time trying to install SuSE on a hard drive thats connected to an SIIG UDMA controller. I've got the Linux driver sources, and I compiled them into a module, I just can't get SuSE to recognize them as such...
