I wanted to bring up the inconsistency for public discussion. I also wanted to do it in a manner that answered question number 2 below, not question number 1.
1. Why was this the link of the day?
I could've answered this by e-mailing, correct. Not to mention the fact that I had already guessed the answer myself.
2. Would the post get moderated?
Now THIS is interesting. If you DIDN'T moderate it, then one can post non-FYOS material and get away with it, and if you DID moderate it (as you did) then you're caught looking sort of silly, because you're effectively censoring your own site. And knowing that you WOULD censor your own site (as I might find out by e-mailing) is not nearly as fun as WATCHING you do it.
Lastly, I have no interest in you or anyone else being proud of me for this, nor do I regret (as your sarcasm indicates) that you perhaps think me a jerk. I did this for my amusement, not yours. |
