Rules evolve over time, just as communities do. The FYOS rule has been around for only a couple of years or so in one form or another. We probably won't remove any archived LOTD entries that (now) violate the FYOS rule. In cases like this one, I like to rely on the maturity of the individual rather than the sensibilities of the masses.
