It'd be more proper to say "check any big news-site" (CNN.com, MSN.com, Yahoo.com etc.) for something about Martha Stewart. As to the relevance around the world...if you're trying to make money in a stock market, any event on Wall Street could possibly have an impact on what you're doing. Besides, you should definitely make an effort to hear about stories where a celebrity tries to save something like $200K by (possibly) participating in insider trading, only to take a hit of $2 Million because of her action...definitely hilarious stuff. By the way, if you want to read NY Times articles without registering, stick the link in this page and voila! you're in without any problems.
