You've been cooped up with your parents for years. You're young and ready to hit the employment and gene pools. Go for it. Packing hints: Heavy stuff, such as books, goes in smaller boxes so you don't get a hernia dragging it out to the truck and into the new place. Mark your boxes with what's in them. Have a few "open first" boxes with absolute necessities in them. Pack your breakable stuff with some of your clothes surrounding it. Get good boxes and tape. Crappy boxes will fall apart and dump your stuff all over. I've only moved 14 times in my adult life. It's an art really.
