IMy previous job was at just about 35 km from where i lived, so i didn't want to move. Some days, it took me 40 mins to get to work (or back), but then suddenly this went up. Maxed at just less than 2 hours (morning trip, lucky that evening when it was "only" one hour)
So when i changed to a job at "90 km" from where i lived, i MOVED. Never regretted that: Brussels is a fine city, meet more people here of more different nationalities - cultures - "social classes" than i would have ever met in yyeeaarrss if i had stayed in the small town / big village ....
So, moving a "small" distance is NOT silly, if you keep an open attitude and make new friends/acquaintances/...
And Rheinland-Pfalz has very good wines, also. |
