I've been involved in about half a dozen car accidents, mostly fender benders. A couple were kind of scary, but one in particular was like it happened in super slow motion. Probably was over in less than 3 seconds, but felt like 20. I was thinking of the people who fell out of the trade center buildings. I had calculated that they would have taken 7 or 8 seconds to complete the fall. Now that would have seemed like an eternity.
