for recipes is epicurious.com. A wide variety of recipes and just general information about cooking (e.g. What does it mean to "saute", etc.). I've found several recipes that I've fixed from there that have turned out fantastic. A couple of curry recipes (one beef, one chicken) and a couple of bread/cookie recipes were fun to make.
