About the lost revenue, sure. About retaining copyright, no. Illiad retains the copyright to his work unless he explicitly signs it over to someone else. You're thinking of trademark, where you have to actually hound people who are using it illicitly, or else you can lose it. You are, however, 100% correct about the downfall of civilization from using a VBScript to snag ad-free UF strips. Or, really, for using a VBScript for anything at all. . . . shudder
