Although I'm looking at XFS for the filesystem on my datbase server. Reiser is faster on small-mid size files but XFS is much faster when it comes to handling large files. Maybe I should use Reiser for the system directories (/, /usr, ...) but XFS for wherever I store the actual database files. I love Linux. Even the filesystems can be optimized.
