Now, I have only a few MP3s on my drive compared to others. I have about 50 from remix.overclocked.org, and those are free and legal. I have the entire soundtracks to Les Miserables and The Producers (excellent musicals, but that's OT), as well at Phantom of The Opera. Every one of these are legal -- I own the CDs.
Those people who "steal" music are those who should be kicked off the internet...people who inhabit chat rooms looking for movies and such to share through IRC, and have absolutely no grammar, spelling, tact, or mental activity. I'd say it should play like an episode of "Survivor"...first come the spammers, then come the lamerz, then come the cheaters, then.....wait. That wouldn't work...too many people use AOL. Damnit...no wonder the RIAA's pissed. I almost see their point.
As for the webcasting thing, I see no reason. Nothing there makes sense. |
