they teach kids quite young here. My kids were matter of fact because I have one of each gender and we weren't hung up on streaking past them(naturists). It was just reciently when my son was doing his course(they do it every year on good touching/bad touching, etc) that the proper words for anatomy became amusing. He knew it was a no no to do it in public but in the truck going somewhere he'd sing "p---s p---s and v---a v---a" ... trying to ignore him helped but apprently his friends found the words amusing too. It wasn't what they are so much as the words just sounded odd. Otherwise my kids have been pretty indiffrent.
