ok, we all know the one about crossing a turkey with an octopus so everybody gets a leg at christmas. If this is a commercial success then you can bet your a$$ that scientists will come up with loads of other splicing combos. How many new diseases are going to be created? Sure, they'll tell us that it's perfectly safe. Just like they said it was safe to feed recycled cow to cows. BSE (mad cow disease) was bad enough. What will they say when they unleash a super strain of the Ebola virus? Woopsy?
