Nnnnngah! by nin_man 2002-06-22 15:18:21
I *thought* I had done a good job.

I just bought a new Radeon video card, and have had it running under Win98 for a couple of days. Snazzy, I can now watch DVDs un-choppily on my computer, and it's now up to about half the quality of what I get on my TV.

I got around to reloading 2000 today, and all was well until I went to load my video drivers. Now, 2000 loads up most of the way, and just as it gets to the first screen that's really 2000 (with the pretty blue background, where it would normally ask me to log in), the screen goes blank.

Has anyone seen such as this before?

I'm having to slam my E key to make it work, too. But I doubt that's related. :) I just wish it coulda been my X key or something like that which I never use.
