I could use a bit of help... I'm wanting to get (or build) some sort of a small line amplifier that runs on no more than 12V DC and will take the output of my Discman-style CD player and about double it. (my CD player only puts out about half of what my car radio will handle on the line in port, according to the VU meters.) Where might I be able to aquire, or how might I build, such a device? I'm not wanting to spend a lot of money, but maybe I have unrealistic cost expectations...
