Looking for: code to do precise division by Freakazoid2002-06-22 00:14:50
Well done! by nil 2002-06-22 00:46:01
It good that more people are coming out and admiting they code in vb. I do it for a living and i've always found that I can make it do almost anything that c can do (although that might be because my c is not that good).

If the limit you are hitting is because the internal datatypes are too small you might want to switch to using a variant. I variant may slow down the calculation a bit, but the VT_DECIMAL (vbDecimal) type is the easiest way to get 64 bit numbers in vb. I found this out when doing direct scsi disk sector manipulation from vb.
