I assume you are replicating your mail database? This is the primary redeeming feature of notes, of course, and as any database gets large being able to work w/ the local copy is imperative, even when you are fully connected I currently have ~7000 records in my mail, and have it set to replicate every 5 min. It's fast, reliable, always there, searchable, and this kind of use really makes the most efficient use of network bandwidth. --binkley
