Things that don't often disturb me... by eli2002-06-20 22:50:29

My ex boyfriends nephew by Arienadean 2002-06-20 23:12:20
saw his mom die from a head on collision at Maple Ridge fair grounds years ago. She wasn't wearing a seatbelt and died instantly on impact when thrown from a car.

My exhusbands ex girlfriend her brother was involved in an accident where he and his friends went to run across the lougheed and harris road intersection in pittmeads. He was in hospital for awhile afterward and I think one of his friends died.

In another incident my dads bosses son was lost in a plane crash in BC while flying a cessna I think it was. He's considered lost and presumed dead though no body was ever found. My dads bosses business was hit hard as they put all into desperately trying to find their son not knowing if he was alive or dead. Eventually the business went under and they had no choice but to accept their son was gone.

Yes they were messed up for awhile... Same as my son will probably be adjusting to having no big sister(cancer) and other things perhaps.(long story) Death no matter which way it comes is never easy for those left behind. In a way I think my daughter and my dad might of perferred sudden over what cancer had done to them. But in their case with them knowing what was comming they got a chance to do the odd thing before the end. My daughters still around but for how long we can't be sure...
