I take it that "taking a dive" means "falling down and trying to look hurt when someone bumps into you"? If so, then the guy deserves a card for interfering with the flow of the game (I can't remember the exact wording in the law book). I ref kiddie soccer, and while we usually let don't call it there, it is b****y anoying. Especially when the same kid does it at least five times in each game s/he plays. This dude is a pro, and should know better.
And yes, 2 * yellow card = red card.
Also, arguing with the ref = yellow card
So this dude really had three yellow cards, more than enough to give him the boot. (no pun intended) |
