Maybe your networking needs to be slapped into order. Logging into a couple of my PDCs at work (ssshhh... don't tell anyone...) I see that both are running NetBEUI and TCP/IP. In terms of services one is running the following:
  1. Computer Browser
  2. Microsoft DHCP Server
  3. NetBIOS Interface
  4. RPC Configuration
  5. Server
  6. Windows Internet Name Service
  7. Workstation
The other is running the same with the addition of Microsoft DNS Server. Is that the same as you're running?
