Dead NT Server by nix 2002-06-20 12:30:42
(yes, I know, that's nothing new)

I've got an NT 4.0 PDC here that appears to be running fine. All services started, nothing hung, virus check passes. But whenever we try to access an network drive anywhere on the network, we get the following error:

\\xxxx is not aaccessible
There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request

Not only can we not mount drives on the PDC, we can't mount ANY drives on ANY machines over the network.

We've tried rebooting the thing (many times), messing with WINS, turning off DHCP, making sure no Samba servers were interfering with it, hacking the registry, etc. The event log doesn't give us anything useful.

Any ideas?
