In a similar vein, but hopefully much easier:
A famous actor and director (and notorious former radioplay host) made a documentary on a notorious art forger, and his equally notorious biographer, who later allegedly wrote a forged biography which may or may not have instigated the Watergate break-ins. Part-way through the film, the director himself admits that part of the film itself if fraudulent, leaving the audience to puzzle out for themselves what is and isn't real for the rest of the film. Name the film, the director, and the artist and the writer it is about. |
