is covered by ADSL or Cable in parts of europe. The phone companies stand to make more money/profit from keeping people on dialup. :(

Here we pay $26/mo unlimited ingoing/outgoing local calls in BC. We can get dialup unlimited time accounts for as cheap as $19/mo. For ADSL you can get access for as little as $24/mo (ADSL gives you more than one IP address I think though but cable you have to pay $10/mo for each extra you get but up to 5 computers I think can be connected to either ADSL or Cable connect at the same time on one account) and cable as little as $45/mo. Btw our long distance calling rates are as cheap as $0.05-$0.15/min within BC and $0.14-$0.22/min for calling US or Europe. Depending on what currency you convert to you might find that considerably cheaper than what you pay. Considering the population of Europe I'm suprised people power doesn't force them into better billing/rates (and in some cases customer service) practices there.
