Naw, spandex is as fine as anything else. I'm all in favor of letting people wear nothing at all if the mood suits em. And if their appearance makes other people sick, well, too bad. If their appearance sparks nasty comments, then they can either attempt to improve it, ignore the comments, or beat up the commenters.

Eventually, we have to shed our arrogant superiority complexes, and the whole "clothing nazi" issue is one that must go before we can do so. Clothes are for protection from the elements, first and foremost. If one doesn't need protection, so be it.

And the only reason we should try to "change" a fat person is out of concern for their health.
