3) LG model TM510. It's a clamshell type, with some neat features like built-in vibrate mode for silent, auto time through the S/P, customizeable display, and a web browser(!) for downloading new ring-tones and display graphics. I haven't used the browser for fear of connect charges. I prefer the clamshell type phones because they're compact to carry, yet open up long enough to put the mic next to my mouth. I could never get used to the small phones that only reach your cheek bone.

5) Yes. Not only has my phone worked in several locations/situations where my SO's (Cingular) phone hasn't, but the Verizon World HQ is exactly 1km from my house! I've even contemplated setting up a directional antenna to tap into their 802.11b network to pirate Internet access form their OS3 line! ;-) |
