i use only 3 cards. 1 nic, 1 scsi, 1 video. I removed 1 of the dvd's but no luck. It does sort of look like an apm problem, but I don't know why it would have just started. I've been timing crashes and it seems to coincide with trying to turn off the monitor. ;(
