Thease are links fyi on what I mention(links are both pro and con)... Seeing the comment too on children using cellphones. I agree. Also it should be noted even without cellphones possibliy affecting anything children are more predisposed to brain cancer and it is the second most common childhood cancer.(leukemia is first) Brain tumours aren't commonly seen in people above age 8 though it can occur in adults.(its rare in teens) To each their own on getting a cellphone though. Some need ones for work obviously or at least a pager. However some people might have some risk of brain cancers hereditarily.(some other cancers such as breast and leukemia which my cousin had and can be linked also to the colon cancer that runs in my family as well as medulloblastoma/pnet which is what my daughter has) And its that added risk combined with cellphone use that makes me cringe. However as said if your using a headset or handsfree it isn't as bad as if its up by your head so some have told me.
