If you got a very limited plan to use in case of emergency and now use it all the time... that can hardly be blamed on the contract itself. If you're signing a contract, be realistic. Figure out how much you'd plan on using the phone and then overestimate that. It's usually cheaper to get the little higher priced plan with more minutes and not use them all ever month than to pay for the months when you exceed them.
