Onboard Video... on its way out? by LeiraHoward 2002-06-19 08:28:59
Hm. Is it just me, or are the numbers of motherboard manufacturers who feature onboard video dropping rapidly? I'm looking for prices for Pentium 4 mobos, and one of the requirements for the board is that it has onboard video, because the powers that be want it in a 2U Rackmount chassis. I've been having the dickens of a time trying to find what they want. I've looked at mobot (on motherboards.org), Tom's Hardware, and Anandtech, and haven't found anything yet.

So, two questions:
(1) Know where I can find a mobo with onboard video?

(2) Is onboard video on its way out? (If so, I think our project had best go to the 4U rackmount case, and just get a cheap video card)

Thanks, UFies all!
