He did a great job of communicating through his eyes and changes in his facial emotions. Lucas has never been very good at dialogue and desperately needs to turn over the writing to someone else. If you want to see Hayden Christensen doing a very good acting job with great writing, watch Life As A House. The writer of this movie is amazing and either had a brother like mine or got some great reference for Christensen's character!
