RE: When will your day be over?
Instead of my normal computers/unix/Oracle, I'm organizing
myself to pack up and drive 17 hours to visit parents in
the tiny town of Stanberry Missouri (USA).
Going here from Atlanta. (probably leaving tomorrow, or next day)
I'm getting to visit some friends and relatives - but mostly
the trip will involve three weeks of long days, working on
our family's farm. Definitely hard labor, but I suppose in
the end, I should be more fit & trim from the excersize.
(no need to visit a health spa, when you can do usefull things)
But, that's why I said, I'll soon be in need of a backrub.
Expected tasks:
new foundation for part of the barn
working on 2 pickups and a truck
cleaning out a well, and resetting the pump
plenty of work aroud their house
herding cattle, sorting, doing meds
removing and remaking 3/4 km of fencing
structural repairs to 2nd barn
removing 10-15 trees
building windbreak shelter for next winter
replacing parents computer with better one
studying what tech books I can in evenings
taking care of farm tax/paperwork while there
cleaning out/sorting clutter from attic+basement
*puff-puff*
I've already been told, there's more work than can
possibly get done... but that's just how farms are.
Happy Father's day, the week after.
