I forget how long ago. Some were just hyping the industry and as I said in my other post trying to recover from bad PR from spills. They talked about how many jobs were employed and spin off industries... they showed the oil lines, wells, and some ocean barges.<shrug> They also do "like" commercials on the forest industry here to combat some "eco" group PR on the topic that made them look bad.(they were worried it would affect tourism if people thought things were really awful and though there are problems its not as horrible as somethings showed it... I used to work in ministry of forests and also used to live in a major logging town as well as flew over BC from Vancouver to Simthers and saw what the land below was like)
