What is the use of the cotton commercials? I never see those commercials talking about the fabric of our lives and then decide to torch my few non-cotton clothing items. It has never made me spend one bloody red cent more than I otherwise would have, but surely it costs a pretty penny or two. Pennies earned on the backs of an enslaved race and never returned to them. It's ill gotten money that is just wasted. Why??? and how about the got milk commercials? Think of the poor cows that are abused to make that milk, to provide the money for commercials that don't inspire one to purchase milk. All those ads do is provide material to build sattire off of. Not to mention the commercials for cheese. Do I really care about whether or not my cheese is from Wisconsin or California? Heck no, I buy cheese and never even think of whether or not the cows enjoyed the warm sun or cool winters. My goodness, while I lived in LA I saw a bunch of ads from the perspective of the cows. One where a bull new to CA was checking out a cow and asking her if she worked out, one where the baby calf asks the Grandma calf (from Wisconsin) what snow was and she freaks out. Very odd, and for what? Does anyone get influenced by these things?
