ok yeah perl may have "obfuscation contests" but you know - its the easiest to read of any language i've run across - it can actually be written almost the way you talk (ex. `$variableA="A" if /^A/;` which says: $variableA="A" if the default variable matches with the first character of A) yeah it can get complex - but any language can. i've never had a problem reading someone else's perl programs and figuring out what they did. oh well - just my 2 bits :)
