Konqueror Question (or should that be "kwestion?") by LeiraHoward 2002-06-18 13:48:24
Hey, Ufies! I'm here at w**k, and I am being forced (yippee!) to use Linux (RedHat 7.3, if you care) for my workstation (okay, so it dual boots to Windoze 98, give me a break).

Anywho, my browser ("Konqueror" that comes with RedHat) has a slight problem displaying the UFIE comments pages. The banner ad on the left covers up the first 6 or 7 characters of each post, making it decidedly hard to read. Also, I will occasionally start up a page only to have the font come across completely in Greek characters (Symbol font, I think).

Anyone have any clue how to get rid of those problems? I figure it is probably something in the settings that I don't know enough to change yet. (I've been a Windoze user since Dos 5.0, I'm proficient in M$ stuff, just haven't gotten Linux guru status yet.)
