Slashdot article on New York subway card readers by mikosullivan 2002-06-18 09:57:13
I'm trying to find an article that was on Slashdot about the card readers in the New York subway system. The contract for those card readers has gotten wildly out of control, costing taxpayers millions. The /. article suggests that if the software had been open source than the problems wouldn't have occurred. I can't find the article. Can some nice UFie put together the magic keywords to find the article in question?
