The problem is that workmans' comp doesn't pay if you were impared while working. It's that whole !@#$%-ing insurance nonsense. Their policy won't cover for being under the influence of anything. And, if you are on any perscription medications at the time, you're likely to get screwed for any WC payments for a while.

And I won't go into eating poppy-seed bagels.
