ack i hope they don't upgrade to traps! anyway, i'm sure it's the cable modem. its a 3com...looks like a dorsal fin. everything else pings, i can access printers, shared files, the WAN status on the router shows the correct information...but i cannot ping any of the dns servers or at&t's gateway. i split the line. no problems for the past year or so it's been like that.
