My crimps come out looking about like the ones they did with the same type of connector, my cables just a little thinner. I plan on grabbing the RG6 cable soon. Looks like I'll actually be better off trekking to the other side of the city to get the good stuff than trying to beat good bulk cable out of the hardware store. Unfortunately my house was built in 1974, that coax outside is somewhere in the 20 year neighborhood, not sure exactly how old, the house was originally wired for anteanna (and 4 pronged phone jacks). I might be able to use that 20ish year mark to my advantage by mentioning the fuzzy picture and having them run a new main cable to my attic.
